Leah Goren Illustrations

Last week we came across an illustration by Leah Goren via tumblr. A link there took us to her etsy shop.

We then visited her website and found some beautiful pieces on her portfolio, many of which we thought appealed to our audience.

Following a background check, we contacted her to see if she would be interested in collaborating with us, and to our delight she got back with eleven options.

Inorder to help us decide we made some mock up iPhone 4 cases with the options and posted them onto our facebook page.

The response was positive and the four above are the patterns with the most likes and comments which we presented to Leah today.

Black Floral iPhone Case

The first artwork that we commissioned is the black floral, created by Johanna Basford.
Johanna Basford is an illustrator based in Aberdeen, Scotland.
She specialises in intricate, hand drawn illustration.
Johanna has an impressive client list that includes DKNY and Sony.

Review on wish wish wish

Marketing is a big part of any business and can be very expensive. Unfortuntaely, being a new business we don't have a lot of funds for marketing. To promote our brand we rely on the odd publicity, like the one via Digital Arts, and also social media.

Recently, we have been in contact with fashion bloggers to promote our brand. We propose giving them one of our cases in exchange for their review or as a competition for their readers. We hope this will attract interest and create awareness. Thankfully, some of the bloggers are happy to do this and recently our Teacup iPhone 3g, designed by Fifi Lapin was featured by Carrie on wishwishwish.
