OUR FIRST PHOTO SHOOT

Things have been gaining momentum in the iconemesis office recently, since the team traded the office for Brick Lane as we embarked on our first photo shoot. Brick Lane proved to be the perfect spot for our mission; it offers the perfect dose of creativity. Our lovely shutterbug, Paige worked her magic in producing a fine collection of photos, showcasing our current collection in all its glory - of course, brilliantly modelled by Kheira and styled by Bianca. We couldn't help but add a new product into our photo shoot, as we look to expand the iconemesis brand to handbags and scarves. We're pretty excited about that, and we can't wait to reveal more details in the near future.

So if you're heading towards Brick Lane, don't forget to pop into Exmouth Coffee Company while you're at it. Located on Whitechapel High Street and only a few minutes walk from Brick Lane, Exmouth offer a delectable feast - whether you have a sweet tooth, enjoy a variety of salads or prefer to have a chai latte on the go.

Grammy 2014 Fashion Round Up: The Music Babes

Power couple Beyonce and Jay Z ripped the stage apart with their opening act, Taylor Swift head-banged her way into her fans heart and 33 same love marriages were performed in the presence of Macklemore, Queen Latifa and Madonna.

The Grammys came to town late last night and we're only just catching up with all the fashion reports. As always expected from the music industry - there were bold silhouettes, tapered dresses, classic colours and some shockers (of course).

Let's have a look at who nailed it and who didn't quite hit the mark.

Paris Hilton making a very rare appearance in a not so exciting gown. That neckline is too high for someone like her.
E! host and reality star, Giuliana Rancic in a coral Alex Perry. We love the subdued cut on her slender body.
Oh Kelly Osbourne - nothing really matches with that hair of yours, unfortunately.
A custom-made Valentino musical gown for the super cute Katy Perry.
Alicia Keys making a bold-plunging-statement in his Armani Prive.
Little pocket rocket, Ariana Grande, slowly making it big in the music industry, wearing Dolce and Gabbana.
Rita Ora in Lanvin and Jimmy Choo.
Ciara in Emilio Pucci, matching the Grammy trophy, perhaps?
Very different to her usual style, Pink graces the gown in this Johanna Johnson piece.
V-O-G-U-E. Yessss, Madonna! Wearing a Ralph Lauren tux and killing it.
 Yoko Ono giving Madonna competition.
Taylor Swift shimmering it in a beautiful Gucci number.
 Natasha Bedingfield in Christian Siriano
Oh, Cyndi Lauper. Why? Alexander McQueen is turning in his grave.
Iggy Azalea wearing Elie Saab. We are loving her swept-back hair in this one.
Power couple - Power fashion dressers. They can wear a paper bag and they'll look amazing. Bey in Michael Costello and Jay Z in Tom Ford.

What's On In London: January 25 - 26

It's that time of the week again where your diaries are either brimming with events and catch-ups or you have one hundred percent plans of couch-potatoing on the couch.

While BBC does suggest a mild shower and cloudy forecast for the coming weekend, we still recommend you checking out some indoor gems to celebrate the end of the week. Of course, only if the duvet allows.

Ultimate Snowdrop Sale (Free) Saturday, February 25: De-gloom the chilly weather with some new fauna for your balcony or bathroom at this Myddelton House & Garden's Ultimate Snowdrop sale. The grounds are beautiful to wander around too and grab a cuppa.

Musicmania Record fair (Free), Saturday, February 25 @ Olympia: Visit the biggest collection of CDs and vinyls in Europe at this haven for music lovers. You can buy, sell or just browse around. Have some old school fun, we say!

Danceworks (Free), Sunday, February 26 @ Oxford Street studio, 11-6pm: Still trying to lose those Christmas calories (yeah, us too!). Visit this fitness studio this Sunday for a non-member's day where you can learn kickboxing, do ballet or sing all day at no charge.

Australia Day Celebrations, February 26 @ all over London: If you're feeling a little patriotic for the country down-under, then Sunday is the day to show it. All Australian pubs around London will be dressing up in shades of green and gold to celebrate the national day. If you fancy an afternoon beer on a rainy sunday, head to the pub, enjoy a beverage and learn the Aussie lingo, mate

Photo Diary: Paris

Parlez-vour Francais? Oui?

When our online editor, Shitika Anand, bought a ticket to Paris for a solo holiday, and to capture #IconemesisTravel shots via Instagram, she didn't realise it would become more of a food vacation than a romantic getaway.

This city of love is every bit of cliche it's made out to be, and more. And we're here to prove that to you with this photo diary captured by Shitika herself.

Paris now has her heart, in case you were wondering.

Enjoy the overdose of pastries and Eiffel Tower photos in the album below.

Tell us - what's your favourite holiday memory?

SAG Awards 2014 Fashion Round-Up: The Trends

Another weekend, another award show.

This weekend gone, we saw Hollywood glam up for Screen Actor's Guild Awards that conveniently nestles itself in between The Golden Globes and the Oscars, giving us all the more reason to wear our Fashion Police hats.

No more fluffing around, let's have a look at who nailed it and who, erm, failed miserably.

Trend: Metallics
Not our favourite of the night, but E! host keeps it simple in Basil Soda.
Modern Family superstar, Sopfia vergara showing off her enviable bod in Donna Karan Atilier.
Our favourite gal - Jen Lawrence ditches the princess cut gowns for this body-hugging Dior piece - nice one, J-Law.
A vintage goddess - Isla Fisher is killing it in this Bulgari mermaid-cut gown.
She might have a trophy on her arm, but Camilla Alves also has a glittery number by Donna Karan Atelier on her bod.
Sandra Bullock in Lanvin. Loving the green, not sure if the cut suits her.
Tom Hanks better-half, Rita Wilson bringing the glam to the monotoned carpet in this shimmering piece. A little too young for her age, but we think she's pulling it off rather finely.

Trend: The Cut-Outs
Pregnancy, what? Kerry Washington pulls off this crop-top number from Prada with all the red-carpet poise. Love the pink-hued lips too.
Amy Adams in Antonio Berardi, bringing futuristic cuts back on the trend chart. Love!
Our favorite TV lady of all times - the lovely Michelle Dockery in this low-cut, yet elegant monochrome number.

Trend: Pastel Pinks
Aussie superstar Cate Blancett keeping it elegant, sophisticated and subtle in this Givenchy gown. The cut's unflattering from some angles, indeed, but it's age-fitting.
We're not sure what's happening here... let's just say that! But the colour is a pretty red carpet one.
Julia Roberts in a simple and spring-hued Valentino gown.

Trend: The Black WTFs
Abigail Breslin chose a red carpet fitting colour, however it's a little too goth for our liking.
Sorry Mariah, but what is happening here? This is an award show, i.e. we need a gown, not a boring LBD. *yawn*
Emma Thompson, we love you, but the length of this dress, its hempline and the shoes - all wrong, sweetheart.
